These cutlets are not related to Dmitry Pozharsky monument that is installed on Red Square in Moscow. They are from Torzhok where kept inn namesake of Prince. The legend says that the Emperor Alexander I, being in those places, ordered veal cutlets, but there was not veal in kitchen, and cook made mince from white chicken meat. The Emperor liked the dish, and named cutlets «Pozharskie».
