This kvass is not for drinking, but for borsch. On Christmas Eve we traditionally prepare borsch from beet kvass. It should be prepared in 4-5 days, so I already placed it. Taste of borsch from kvass is very good, and it is prepared easily.

Preparation
Peel beetroot and slice it. Pour with COLD water. Top with slice of rye bread. Cover with cheesecloth and keep in a warm place. To prepare borsch use only kvass and beets need to be cooked separately.
