I present to you today the Czech Christmas cookies «Christmas stars ». Very crimp and delicate cookies with one of the traditional Christmas flavors — nutty. The peculiarity of this cookie is that it consists of two cakes-stars, with layers between them of fruit jam or marmalade. Stars should be turned relative to each other so that their rays do not overlap. It turns out true Christmas star. Very tasty and beautiful.
Preparation
To prepare butter you should rub sugar powder, flour and grated nuts. This is best done in a food processor, nozzle «metallic knife ». It`ll take 15-20 sec. Dough is also can be done by hands or with the help of fork. Then it`ll take a few minutes.
Sprinkle board with flour and roll dough of 0,7 сm thick. Cut off stars: part without holes, part with holes inside.
Bake for 12-15 min at 180℃.
Put layers of fruit jam or marmalade and make two by two — upper — with a hole, wrapping cookies so that stars `rays do not coincide. Sprinkle with sugar powder.
