Gazpacho with salad

Never in my life I`ll follow mother`s cunning tricks make me to cook another stellar recipe from some newspaper. Today I was awarded with " Gazpacho with salad ". It's such a cold tomato soup.

Mum gestured imperiously on the windowsill with a wistful in the sun slide of tomatoes and retired from the kitchen. As always. But today I was not going to give up so quickly. I returned her back and with the same imperious gesture pointed to the crab sticks and handed her a knife. Mom frowned. Cut sticks and went again. To further my calls did not respond.
I stayed with gazpacho alone. After preparing all the vegetables, cut them, pouring with tomato juice and having read the recipe to the end, I found that there needs blender. So important in the household appliances we, of course, did not have. Mom suggested mix it with a mixer. Yeah. With the beaters for tender pancake dough.

Fair Enough. I obeyed. Mixer terribly squirted and did not take severe cucumber slices. Dad came and told me to stop this nonsense. Or at least do it away from the wall and generally put on an apron. After watching a couple of seconds for my torment, he advised to put the container on the floor and knead at highest speed.

I have nothing to lose. Again, I obeyed. Dad left me at a safe distance and did the right thing. A few minutes later kitchen began to resemble a carnage. The entire floor within a radius of one and a half meters from the pan with gazpacho, all legs of stools, cabinets, and I have been splashed with tomato juice. Big fat drops.

After such a turn of events, I was strongly barred from the mixer.

Instead, I was handed a meat grinder.

I've been so angry and tired, I turn off the brain and dully start to turn tiny servings of vegetables. Again and again. Spoon by spoon. Thin red-green streams flowed from the grinder in a bowl, hand terribly tired, and vegetables were endless. But now it is more like a puree soup. Finally all was finished.

And still had to add oil and vinegar, and salt, and sugar and then stir with mixer…

And it turned out quite well. Quite edible. But very spicy. Perhaps I have gone too far with piri piri peppers. Of course. Instead of one, I put eight. It was my little revenge.

Next bring this unfortunate recipe by Alexei Zimin. I sincerely hope that you have a blender. Also, red wine vinegar and olive oil. Bon Appetite))))

Preparation

At first prepare soup: cut tomatoes in small pieces, cucumbers and sweet peppers. Take onion, garlic, salt, hot pepper, green onion and tomato juice. Put all in blender and grind into puree. Add salt, some olive oil, vinegar and pinch of sugar. When soup is ready, prepare salad.

Chop greens, add lettuce leaves, dress with lemon juice, salt and add crab sticks. And then pour soup in plates, add salad in it, and dinner is ready!
